The Kinaskan property, which contains the QC West SE is underlain by Upper Triassic, Stuhini Group volcanics and volcaniclastics intruded by numerous small, quartz deficient stocks of Late Triassic to Early Jurassic age. Sulphides with copper-gold and locally molybdenum grades are generally associated with the intrusives and late quartz stockworks. Jurassic Hazelton Group volcanics and volcaniclastics unconformably overlie the Stuhini volcanics. Felsic dikes and small plugs, sometimes associated with auriferous pyrite-chalcopyrite intrude the Hazelton stratigraphy in the northern portion of the property.

Four mineralized samples were taken in the same vicinity in 2010 by Brett Resources on their Kinaskan property. Little information was given.

A very rusty limonitic horizon in sedimentary rock, 10 centimiters wide was observed to contain minor chlorite and very fine grained sulphides. Sample 867821 assayed 21.12 grams per tonne gold, 15.3 grams per tonne silver, 0.071 per cent copper and greater than 1 per cent arsenic (Assessment Report 33023).

A 1 metre wide rusty shear zone in volcanic rock contains limonite and very fine grained sulphides. Sample 867822 assayed 15.43 grams per tonne gold, 13.1 grams per tonne silver, 0.1 per cent copper, 0.053 per cent lead, 0.22 per cent zinc and greater than 1 per cent arsenic (Assessment Report 33023).

A 1 meter shear zone in volcanic rock was sampled. Sample 867823 assayed 0.89 gram per tonne gold and 3.8 grams per tonne silver, 0.8 per cent arsenic and is elevated in copper lead and zinc (Assessment Report 33023).

A sample of very rusty, limonitic rock with disseminated pyrite was taken from what may be a continuation of the shear zone sampled by sample 867823 (reported above). Sample 867824 of this zone assayed 1.38 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 33023).

Work History

In the fall of 2009, Brett Resources Inc. carried out a reconnaissance style silt sampling program that successfully identified three multi-drainage anomalies including a gold-zinc anomaly due west of the QC porphyry prospect (MINFILE 104G 033), a gold-silver-zinc-lead anomaly centred on Coolridge Mountain to the northwest and a copper anomaly in the southeastern portion of the property. A single sample gold-zinc anomaly was also identified southwest of the QC prospect.

In 2010, follow-up exploration by Brett Resources on their Kinaskan property (owned by Colorado Resources) included detailed silt sampling followed by contour soil sampling, prospecting and rock sampling over the QC West and Coolridge Mountain targets with minimal sampling also conducted south of QC West and around Castle Rock. The work yielded significant multiple sample, multiple element silt, soil and rock anomalies throughout the QC West target but generally weak and scattered soil anomalies from Coolridge Mountain.

In 2011, Colorado Resources Ltd purchased the claims from Brett Resources. Colorado Resources also acquired the Kittov-01 and Kittov-02 claims from Seeker Resources Corp to infill the claim block. A limited program of 2 days occurred on the property that saw 12 silt samples collected from drainages.
